Float Range in Datatype

  • A Float is a datatype which is responsible for holding the values which belong to either whole number or the fractions. For example – 223, 988, 0, -34, 3.5, 55.6.
  • Range of Float data type is in between 3.4e-038 to 1.7e+0.38.
  • It can take up to 4 bytes of memory.
  • Float datatype is mostly used to store fractional or the approximate values.
